6 Months Old

Emily's 1/2 birthday happened to fall on Monday, which meant that we all got to spend the entire day together. One of Emily's all-time favorite things is dueling & simultaneous attention from Mom & Dad, so she was super excited.

The day started off with an early morning wake-up call at 6:00am (courtesy of Emily), which prompted a morning coffee run...in jammies, of course.

Then, we took her monthly photo, which was lots of fun again. At this point, we've figured out what sounds & toys make her laugh. I feel like Dad can always make her laugh, though. She's also super ticklish, so that's always a sure thing.

Soon after we started snapping photos, she realized there was something crinkly & within reach, so we lost all hope for any more pictures. She's gotten so curious & grabs EVERYTHING in sight, which usually goes right into her mouth. Lately, she's been loving those cool teething toys straight out of the fridge, so maybe some teeth are on the way...

Then, it was off to a BBQ where she got to take a quick dip in the kiddie pool.

And a dance party with friends to end the evening!
