TGIF

We recently borrowed an Exersaucer from one our friends to see if Emily might like her own. It seems like she needs some new stuff to keep those little hands and brain busy. She ended up LOVING it. She is sooo intense when she's in that thing. It's all business for her. We joke that she looks like she's at work, sending emails and filing away. What a serious & focused little gal!

Yergotime

Emily got to meet Grandma D for the 1st time last weekend. Yippee! All 3 of us were very excited to have her down her for a few days. Unfortunately, Emily had to get those nasty 4 month shots the Friday before Grandma D arrived, so she was a tad crabby all weekend :( She definitely needed extra attention, though, so Grandma time was just what the doctor ordered.

Speaking of which...we found out little Em's clocking in at 90% height (and 40% weight). Don't know where she's getting those crazy stats!

Here are a few pictures of Emily and Grandma D getting to know each other & then one taken of the 3 generations of Yergos at Balboa Park. Naturally, Em loved the sound of the fountain. We could've stayed next to that fountain all afternoon as far as she was concerned.

Then, this past weekend Uncle Adam was in town and spent Sunday afternoon with us. He also brought Emily her new favorite toy - a cuddly giraffe that plays lullabies. It was love at 1st sight, as you can see.

4 Months Old

What an awesome month this has been! Emily is smiling, talking, laughing & rolling over these days. We're really starting to see her cute little personality. She's happy and playful, but definitely mellow (just like dad).

Taking a Dip

What would a San Diego summer be without trips to the pool! As far as Emily is concerned, it was just like taking a bath (only a little colder), so she had the kicking part down. She just couldn't figure out why the bath was so massive.

The last picture just makes me laugh too. I swear, we didn't pose her like that. She'd just gotten out of the water & I think she wanted to show off her itsy bitsy bikini. Too funny.

Giggles!

Not sure if Emily is giggling because of David's prickly beard or the tickles on the belly. Either way, we're gonna keep doing it since it's the only way we can get that cute little laugh.
