2 Weeks Already?!?

It's hard to believe we've already had our little munchkin for almost 2 weeks now. We feel like she's grown so much!

Here she is beautifying herself. We figured she'd better learn to comb those fab locks soon!

Bedtime for the gals. We read Goodnight Moon, then crashed. It was all very exhausting.

She's also become quite the performer. Here's her version of the chicken dance (with a tiny bit of help from Daddy).

Our Little Leprechaun

Yes, it's still all baby, all the time at the Yergo's. I think she's starting to hate that camera flashing in her face 24/7. We can't help it, we just think she's so dang cute!

Here's all the fun we had celebrating Emily McYergovich's 1st St.Patty's Day:

We also caught a little video action yesterday of Em trying out one of her many new toys (courtesy of Auntie Amy). I think she's really gonna love this one - so is Mommy :)

Miss Emily is 1 Week Old Today!

How time flies!!! I can't believe our little gal is already 1 week old. Here are a few more pictures from this past week:

Her favorite outfit from Uncle Matthew

She was so tuckered out from the day, she fell asleep on the changing table.

David calls this her "Milk Drunk" face. She gets sooooo tired after she eats. She just passes out. It makes me laugh every time.

Chillin' in the Boppy

Quality time with Nana

Her 1st of many lessons on the Oakland A's.

What a great week it has been. It just gets better & better every day. We promise to keep more pictures coming!!!

Spring Came Early this Year!

Now Introducing Emily Elizabeth to our blog...

Call it new mothers intuition but I kept saying little BG was going to make her grand entrance early. I started having contractions around 6:00am on Friday morning & at 3:00am Saturday morning my water broke. We got the hospital around 3:30am-ish and by 6:00pm (yes - 14 1/2 hours later) I got the high sign that it was time to bring BG into this world of ours. Little did I know, she was gonna make us work another 2 1/2 (verrrry long) hours. Both David & I were absolutely exhausted, but by 8:24pm, little Emily Elizabeth decided to grace us with her lovely presence.

Can I just say, words cannot describe the feeling of seeing your daughter for the first time. We are elated & feel truly blessed by this beautiful miracle of ours. We are in love!!! Enjoy some photos of our journey :)

Me & Mama Z getting through those contractions. Seriously, I have a new appreciation for those mother's who go the natural birth route. Our 1st Family Photo. Mom looks a little pooped :)

Proud Papa! I think she's about 1 hour old here.

Mama Bird & Baby Bird
I can't remember if this was the APGAR test or the "How loud can your newborn scream?" test.
6.5 Lbs. of love. For the record, I think our Thanksgiving turkey was at least 13 Lbs...Combing & Washing those luscious locks!

Now the name's official. It's been printed on a 2 cent card by the hospital staff. (Does our insurance cover that?!)

Rockin' the I-Pod

Hmmm...wonder where that hair came from...

Getting to know the Z family.

I think Daddy found a new napping partner. Now she's at home & spoiling us rotten!

Now We Wait...

With just a couple of weeks to go, we are on the edge of our seats waiting for our little sweetie to arrive. The anticipation is just killing us! I was hoping the doctor could give us an idea of when she may get here, but they keep telling us, "She could arrive any day now". So, we wait...

The good news is that BG's room is finally finished & just waiting for her approval. Dad definitely leads the pack in hours spent on the nursery, but the entire fam definitely joined in the fun & hard work. Here are some before, during & after pics:

As you can see, the room took on a life of it's own in a very girlie way. I just hope she likes the color pink cause I think we went a little pink crazy.

Hopefully, next time we post anything, it will be about her 1st day :)
