Halloween Part 1

This weekend definitely started the Halloween festivities off with a bang! We went to a pumpkin carving party, another fall festival and a cowboy-themed birthday party for one of Emme's friends.

We had so much fun at the birthday party, I had to post some pics. There was a petting zoo and pony rides! Emily just LOVED the ponies. Maybe she'll be a jockey someday :)

I just love it when the air turns crisp and the summer weather begins to fade away. Such a fun time, with the holidays ahead.

With the heat mostly behind us, we've been busy baking lots of things (mostly muffins). Emily is such a fantastic sous chef!

Today, I took the kids to a local Oktoberfest for some Halloween fun. Emily was a busy little lady, playing games, making a hat, getting her face painted...while Drew's favorite part was the crazy hair booth!

Lately, Emily has been asking to hold Drew in her lap , even if only for a few minutes. I'm just loving these sweet pictures of the both of them!
